Skylarks Mission Statement
At Skylarks we aim for children to have a caring as well as a stimulating environment in which to develop. Home from home, where they can progress in all Seven Areas of learning in The Early Years Foundation Stage while they play, take risks and have fun. We aim to encourage healthy living and wellbeing through eating, physical and emotional play activities which will help the children to become happy and healthy individuals. Above all this we believe that a child should decide on their own pace of doing things – we endeavour to follow the child’s lead, we shall not push but challenge and encourage them to reach their potential. Our structured days blend with the freeflow play effortlessly therefore we aim for a nurturing environment which is an extension to the home.
